Tzatziki Sauce

Healthy homemade tzatziki sauce. Great to have with my Greek Turkey Burgers, or as a side for any other Greek meal you many be having.
  • ½ cucumber grated
  • ½ cup low fat greek yogurt
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped very fine or grated with microplane
  • ¼ tsp lemon zest
  • Juice of approx ½ a lemon (just squeeze by hand)
  1. Sprinkle salt on grated cucumber and leave for a few minutes, the salt will pull some of the moisture out.
  2. Squeeze the cucumber well over the sink to release all the juice.
  3. Place cucumber in bowl, add in other ingredients and mix until combined.
