Happy Wednesday! Hope you’re all having a great week so far. Its just plugging along for us! Tuesdays tend to be our busier day and Sienna has gymnastics and swimming that day, plus work and errands and all the jazz. The rest of the week will be a breeze.
For today’s Favorite Find, it was something I picked up randomly at the store and actually thought it was something else! Has that ever happened to you? Usually the result is bad when you realize you came home with something you didn’t exactly want. But in this case, it was actually a pleasant change.
I apologize as this is from a Canadian store, but I’d be interested to hear if you Americans have something similar in your local stores or farmers markets. And heck, its not rocket science. I’ll be making it myself with my own little garden in the summer.
What is it?
Greens. Simple mixed salad greens. But here’s the perk….it has fresh herbs added to it too!
As simple as it is…I’ve never thought to put fresh herbs in my salad before. DUH! It was sooooo good! Especially in a salad with balsamic dressing.
It has fresh parsley, dill and I bet a touch of chives in there would be great too.
I “thought” I had just come home with the regular mixed greens. I didn’t figure it out until I made a salad and ate it, that something was different! It made my salad taste so much better! Funny how just a little bit of something can do that!
QUESTION: Have YOU ever put fresh herbs in your salad?
Novel idea, I’m a new fan!
