Gingerbread Protein Shake_1

The holidays to me, are an opportunity to make everything taste like my favorite Christmas treats. I love me healthy gingersnaps, but naturally I can’t eat cookies all day long. I also have a more figure-friendly recipe for gingerbread protein balls which are also amazing. But to even out the collection, I wanted to come up another recipe to give me a gingerbread fix, in a low calorie snack.

Gingerbread Protein Shake_2

This recipe is no exception. Its like a gingerbread cookie in a cup. Not only is this a great snack, its a  great option for a post workout shake. At 23 grams of protein per serving, it does a fabulous job at fueling your muscles after a workout.

For optional garnish,  I drizzled on a touch more molasses and sprinkled on a bit of gluten free graham cracker crumbs. I hope you give it a try this season!
