Back in the Swing!

Happy Friday!  Its been the first full week back for me!  I almost don’t like short weeks, as I feel like I don’t get as much done!  I like being back in the routine!

Since its “Flashback Friday”, I wanted to give you a short recap of my week!

It was a happy & sad day, when I sent off our little princess to pre-school for the first time…

She loved it! I was a little worried as she is REALLY shy.  Not sure who she got that from, but it takes her a bit of time to warm up to a new environment.

In other news, I’m so excited for a change with work (which allows me to be a work-at-home mom!!!).  I’ve been an full time Account Manager with a vitamin company for 6 years. I’m going to be transferring out of sales (with the same company), and will be doing their Social Media (part-time).  Talk about a good fit, huh!  I’ll now be able to spend more time with my little girl, and take her back and forth to pre-school.  I’m over the moon, and so thankful we’re able to swing it!  It will also give me more time to manage the site, which has been taking more time to keep up with the growth 🙂

I don’t know about you, but here, fall is definitely in the air!  The tree out front of our house is already starting to change color!

I’ve been a busy bee working on loads of new recipes for the fall!  I’ve started meal planning, and its been working out really well so far (going on week 2).  Here are some teasers of a few recipes you’ll see posted soon (I just haven’t had time to get them on the site!)

Fitness?

I’ve been going hard at the gym lately!  I’ve been happy doing a 3 day a week weight split (Legs, Shoulders/Biceps, Back/Triceps)  On the alternate days I do cardio: Stair Master, Elliptical or Bike.  I’m good with doing 5 days/week, anymore = burnout!  Can’t run as it aggravates my left knee.  I’m anxious to try a new spinning class that starts soon.  Its at my local rec center and they have brand spankin’ new spin bikes!!

Any big plans this weekend? We’ve got 2 birthday parties, then we’ve got an open house on Sunday (still trying to sell our house).  The cleaning is non stop!  Gotta love it! (NOT!)
