I love banana bread, and the comforting flavors of cinnamon and nutmeg. With fall fast approaching, I’m so excited to get back into baking and all the flavors of autumn. But, we’re not quite ready to end summer here in Vancouver. This weekend is typical September weather. Chilly mornings and hot afternoons.
With my girls back in school and their activities, I find myself rushing around like a chicken with my head cut off most of the time. While I always ensure they have a healthy lunch and snacks packed, sometimes I don’t put the same effort into my own meals. But that’s why I love quick options like this. It takes 5 minutes to make, and tastes really good. Plus, I can throw it in a to-go cup and bring it along in the car.
I’m telling you, this banana bread protein milkshake really tastes like banana bread in a glass! I love it! When I first tested the recipe, my girls were all over it to. I ended up making two, as they drank my first one!
I hope you give it a try soon! If you like banana bread, I think you’ll love it too.
