Favorite Find: Simply Good Seasoning

Happy Wednesday!  I’m lucky enough to have a short week this week! Gotta love that!  So my brothers wedding on Saturday went without a hitch!  Full update (with pics) on Friday!

For today’s “Favorite Find”, it was a seasoning I recently came across.  Thanks to the world of Twitter, I came across a product called Lawhorn’s Seasonings. I got chatting with their social media person, and they offered to send me a bottle to try.

One thing that peaked my interest is that its 65% less sodium than most regular seasoning salts.  I asked what they recommend putting it on and they said “everything!”.  Meat, veggies, basically almost anything that would be on your dinner plate.

As I like to cook low fat, I do rely on low salt seasonings to spice things up.

How’d it Taste?

I liked it!  It has a peppery flavor, so you don’t need to use a bunch.  A little goes a long way in the flavor department!  I’ve put it on steak, chicken, roasted veggies and even egg white omelets!

Ingredients: Salt, Garlic, Onion, Pepper, Spices, Paprika, Calcium Sterate (to prevent caking)

Where to Buy?

If your interested in adding a new spice to your cupboard, its a good one to have.  Its all natural and can be used with a variety of things!  It looks like its mostly available in the U.S. and online.  Check the store locator on their site!  They’re also active on Facebook & Twitter.

Check em out!

QUESTION!  What’s your favorite seasoning?

See ya Friday!
