Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going great and you’ve gotten in a couple workouts πŸ˜‰  Thankfully, I have!  My plans on Monday were foiled when Brent’s truck wouldn’t start, so I’ll be fitting in a weekend workout as a make-up.

For today’s “Favorite Find Wednesday”, this is something I recently bought and had to share it with you because its so delicious!

Hummus isn’t something that’s typically exciting.  Its pretty basic – chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice.  But it does have some benefits: low calorie, great flavor, and turns boring things into interesting!

I’ve bought many different types of hummus, most of them are non-exciting.  So when I saw this, it peaked my interest.  I just happen to love caramelized onions in any form!

Per 2 Tbsp: Cals 70, Fat: 5g  Carbs: 6g  Fibre: 1g  Sugars: 1g  Sodium: 125mg  Protein: 2g

Ingredients:

Chickpeas, water, tahini, canola oil, onions, lemon juice concentrate, sea salt, vinegar, garlic juice, spices.

hummus 4.JPGI know they also have a jalepeno version which I’ve had before (equally delicious) but I can’t seem to find it. I bought this one at Costco in Canada.

The Point?

Be adverturous, try new things!!!  Eating healthy can get boring so don’t be scared to try things you normally wouldn’t, cause who knows, you may actually like it! πŸ™‚
