Hi all! Happy to have another giveaway for you!  Back to school and back to work means a lot of stress can come back into people’s lives. With some, this stress can affect their sleep. I’m lucky that I normally don’t have difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep, but there is the odd time that my mind is racing and I can’t seem to shut it off! Not getting a full nights sleep can wreak havoc on your body, immune system and mind. Emotions run wild and you can have a hard time functioning. Like all Moms, I’ve experienced this having 2 newborn babies! I know that sleeping difficulties are VERY common in many people, and sleeping remedies are one of the most purchased items in supplements and even drugs.

pascoflair Thankfully, there are some natural remedies out there that can help you get a full nights sleep, such as Passionflower, which is the key ingredient in Pascoflair. The first existing records about passionflower stem from 1552. Its calming effects were originally documented in a 1649 book describing the uses of the New World’s medicinal drugs. Indigenous peoples used the blossoms and fruits, the latter growing from the herb’s tops, to treat epilepsy. The Working Group/Expert Group on the Developmental History of Medicinal Plants at the University of Würzburg voted this exotic plant as the 2011 Medicinal Plant of the Year. The reasons for this decision are passionflower’s unique calming and anxiolytic action profile and long history as a medicinal plant.

The people at Pascoe, were kind enough to send me a free sample of Pascoflair…

As mentioned, I don’t normally have sleeping difficulties, but some nights it might take me a bit longer than normal to fall asleep…especially if I’ve had a lot of caffeine that day . I tried the Pascoflair on a few occasions, about 20 minutes before bed. I found it made me feel more relaxed than normal which made it easier to drift off to sleep. I didn’t notice any side affects, and in the morning, I felt fine…not groggy at all.

For those of you that are interested in seeing the ingredients, here’s a snapshot of the back of the box…

I like that the product is a herb, and non-habit forming. I also found it to be gentle and something that could easily be added into someone’s supplement regime.
