Well….almost half baked. Today I’m 19 weeks. Next Friday is the BIG ultrasound! We’re so anxious to find out what this baby is. But technically we won’t know until next Sunday at our Gender Reveal Party.
Here’s a shot from this morning….and yes, those are pajamas, and no, I’m not wearing makeup. Remember I said to start preparing for the un-glamourous yet realistic pics 😉
Compared to 17 weeks (not that much of a change):
I’ve been feeling pretty good, but still can’t get off my 1 nausea pill quite yet. I’ve tried twice, and am still getting nausea when I go off it. Bummer. I’ve been doing regular chiro and massage therapy, so that’s been helping my back a ton. Still missing the gym, but I’m enjoying my back not killing me. I stepped on the scale the yesterday, which I have been avoiding like the plague. I’ve gained 6 lbs from my regular weight of 130. Although when I got pregnant (took test Jan 1st), I’m sure I must’ve been higher than my regular weight as it was just after Christmas. So it really hasn’t been much. Not that I’m complaining! Just eating as healthy as possible and walking whenever possible.
Its been a busy week. Easter was in full effect last weekend, and this was the first year Sienna actually got the concept of the Easter Bunny and the egg hunt. She was loving every minute!
Clearly, I was unable to run a brush through her hair before the hunt started! 😉 Ha!
In a pretty dress before an Easter Dinner at a family friend’s house. I was loving that I didn’t have to cook!
In other news, spring has sprung, and I’m ready for some sunshine! The rain was starting to seriously depress me! S.A.D (seasonal affective disorder), was in full effect over here all winter!
I was doing some spring cleaning outside and gave the BBQ a good scrub. I noticed some of my herbs in my pot decided to start growing on their own!
Can you guess what it is?
Mint. A couple different varieties. That stuff grows like a weed!! Perhaps some of my Low Cal Mojitos (sans alcohol) will be in the near future! Especially now that its hockey playoff time. My team, the Canucks, are in it again!
Now to think of it, I’ve been having a crazy craving for a Virgin Caesar for a while now that I still haven’t fulfilled….
In case you’re wondering, a Caesar is WAY different than a Bloody Mary. Clamato is a mix of clam juice/tomato juice. Not a fan of Bloody Mary’s as the tomato juice is so thick. Once you try a Caesar, you’ll never go back to a Bloody Mary. Trust me on that one.
This weekend will just be some catch-up on things around the house and other random to-do’s.
See you on Monday!
