Well this blogging break of mine has lasted a bit longer than I expected. Other than posting the odd recipe, my blog has been sitting dormant.
My blog is a hobby for me. I actually work part-time managing other people’s social media, so in reality, their blogs and Facebook pages come first. But I love my blog, my fans, and all the great comments and feedback I get. So I really want to start putting some effort back in. I know there will be those days where I haven’t sat down all day, and blogging when the kids go to bed will be the last thing on my mind. But I will try. If it were possible to type effectively with one hand, then I would have no problem! I must say, the best social media for busy Moms is Pinterest, and that’s because you can add the app to your phone, and scroll through it with one hand when you have a break for a few minutes. Really, its only ever a few minutes. Then there have been other priorities…like the gym. Going to the gym and getting back in shape has been a bigger priority than blogging. More on how I got back in shape in another post.
Clara turned 9 months a few days ago, and Sienna will be 5 in July. Where does the time go? I’ll have a kindergartener in a few months! I’m having a little panic attack over that one. I will miss having my buddy around all day. These last 9 months have been joyful, challenging at times, and just plain old busy. Baby C has a hard time going down for naps some days, and is busy crawling and getting into all sorts of trouble. My older one needs a bit more attention to know that she’s just as loved as before the baby came along. There hasn’t been much jealously in that sense. A little bit, but that’s normal. She really is a little mommy and loves her little sister. She plays with her, helps to feed her, tries to make her feel better when she cries. She will be an amazing mother one day if she ever has children. Personally, I think she’s born to be a Mom!

Most of all, I want to say thanks for sticking with me! The Facebook Fitness and Recipe Pages continue to grow without much effort from me, so thank you.
