Ok, I can breathe now! A weekend of chaos! Wakeboarding, family in town and Sienna’s (our 2 year old) Birthday party!
Firstly, I’ll show you a breath-taking view of what we see when we’re on the lake wakeboarding! Can’t beat that!
After the rough (yeah right!) weekend of some wakeboarding, it was time to get prepped for Sienna’s party. I was up late Sat night making all the salads (all healthy of course!) I did a Date/Pecan Quinoa Salad (a recipe of my own I’ll post soon), Shrimp & Orzo (from Barefoot Contessa), Greek Salad (my own simple recipe) & Spinach & Strawberry Salad (from Best of Bridge cookbook). We also grilled up turkey burgers and lean beef burgers.
Everyone LOVED these baked chip-like things from Costco. BBQ flavor, they were pretty good!

I was so ready for a workout this morning after all the food! Did some cardio. I was actually still a bit sore from Friday’s bootcamp workout…tons of sprints! Plus all the wakeboarding.
I don’t know if any of you have tried Kettlebells yet, but it is a GREAT workout. There is an awesome instructor in my town (Petra) and her workouts are tough, and I love them. I would never suggest just picking up kettlebells and swinging them around, you definitely need to get the form down or you will hurt yourself, especially your back. Once you know how to do it, here is a great full body kettlebell workout….
