I’m super excited about today’s post! Cause you know how much I love my protein bars! I make homemade protein bars very often, but sometimes during extra busy times, when I’m traveling or I’m not going to be around a fridge for a while, its so convenient to have a grab-n-go bar. Many store bought protein bars have a lot of ingredients, but B-UP Bars contain real ingredients that I can pronounce. Not to mention, they are DELICIOUS! B-UP bars are all natural, contain no sucralose, are low sodium, and use tapioca fiber. Win-win!
In case you’re interested, here’s the ingredients: Prebiotic Dietary Vegetable Fiber, Whey Protein Isolate, Milk Protein Isolate, Almonds, Palm Fruit Oil, Chocolate, Xylitol, Cocoa Butter, Natural Flavors, Cocoa Powder (Dutch Alkalized), Sunflower Lecithin, Sea Salt.
I’ve reviewed B-UP Bars in the past when they first came out (see that review HERE), and now they’ve recently launched this new chocolate chip cookie dough flavor… and guys…I think its my new favorite!
As I mentioned in my previous review, these bars are a lot softer than other types of similar looking protein bars (eg. Quest bars). They can also be broiled or baked if you want that crispy on the outside texture, but I just like to eat mine straight from the wrapper.
To me, what’s not to love, and the macro’s are fantastic. High fiber, sugar-free, low-carb and natural sweeteners. I certainly don’t feel guilty having one of these as a snack. Perfect for that 3pm slump when you need a boost. Its perfect for my sweet tooth and a lot better of an option than other snack-foods out there.
