This is a really quick and yummy appetizer that’s been circulating in my group of girlfriends for a while now! They are are super easy, super quick, 3 ingredients! Much healthier than using regular bacon and full fat cream cheese!
Turkey Bacon & Date Wraps
Turkey Bacon (get lower sodium if you can find it)
Fat Free Cream Cheese (if dairy allergy, use Tofutti–cream cheese substitute)
Dates (pitted–typically can be bought in bulk)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take one date and spread 1 tsp of cream cheese around half the date. Wrap in 1/2 a slice of turkey bacon. Place on a sprayed cookie sheet (or one lined with parchment paper). Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes until browned. Serve on a platter with a toothpick poked in each one.
Tip: They can be made 1-2 days ahead and kept in the fridge. Then just cook them before you need them.
