Happy Friday! Whew! Its been an extra busy week! More appointments than usual, and paperwork. Ugh. If your new to reading the blog, you will soon discover this isn’t all that I do. I have a full time career, an almost 3 year old, in addition to keeping up with the blog, BBH TV, keeping fit and creating new recipes! Sometimes I think I’m running on fumes!

Well mid-week (Wed) ended up being a bust as the Canucks lost the Stanley Cup and some idiots in the city decided it would be fun to riot and trash our beautiful city. Such a shame.
Before it all went down, Brent and I were happy as clams enjoying the healthified Potato Skins I made!
Of course I had to add a couple things (green onions and a touch of light sour cream) to make them more “Deluxe”!

Photography
I’m trying to put more ‘care’ into taking photo’s. I’m really trying to up the quality. I have a good camera, I’m just not so sure how to use it. It doesn’t come easily to me. My brother is actually an AMAZING amateur photographer, but I didn’t get the same gift. But I’m trying! I’m such a visual person, and with food, its so important. But it does take time. Which I don’t have a lot of!
I’m starting to set up little photoshoots when I take pictures of food! Include the ingredients, try and prevent white space etc. I’m also going to start watermarking all the recipe photo’s. I’m starting to understand why people do that. It takes a lot of time and effort to do this, only for people to take your pictures and claim them as theirs. Sad, but it happens.

I don’t normally like posting food pics without a recipe, but I’m happy with how the photography turned out!!! You know how I love my muffins (quick, easy and great for on-the-go!)
Bacon, Cheddar & Corn Protein Muffins. These will be my first savory protein muffin recipe. They turned out GREAT!
Chai Pistachio Protein Muffins
Chocolate & Orange Muffins (no protein added, but these are more like chocolate cake!!!!)

Workouts This Week:
I had some great workouts this week!
Monday – Bootcamp with lots of weight. My hamstrings were HURTING the next day.
Tuesday – Incline walk on my home treadmill.
Wednesday – Jillian’s Yoga Meltdown
Thursday – Spinning
Friday – Off
Sat or Sun – Another workout of some sort. Haven’t decided yet.
Brent and I are also going to start a more rigid meal plan next week. As you know from last weeks post, my meals haven’t been as consistent as usual, which can cause me to go off track. We both tend to do well with set meal plans.
Not sure what we’re doing on Sunday for Father’s Day. Its Brent’s day, so he gets to pick!
QUESTION!!!! Do you think good food photo’s are important, or do you like making recipes without any photo’s at all???
