Chimichurri is a delicious herb sauce that’s a staple in Argentinian cuisine. It is FABULOUS on steak! It would also be great on fresh grilled chicken, fish or tofu. A great addition to our Valentine’s Day dinner!
Makes 4 servings
1/2 cup cilantro (if you don’t like cilantro, you could use all parsley)
1/2 cup parsley (I used italian parsley)
1 Tbsp white wine vinegar
2 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Put everything in a blender (I used a magic bullet) and blend. Pour over meat. Leftovers would probably keep for a day or two in the fridge.
